Adaptive Tutor Curriculum

Curriculum And Standards

Choose the curriculum and standards references that fit.

Every learner can use Adaptive Tutor's broad general curriculum, Common Core Math and English language arts, or a general curriculum paired with any available state standards library. Location can suggest a starting point, but it never limits the choices.

Learning Choices

Three useful starting points.

Adaptive Tutor general curriculum

A broad learning path from kindergarten through introductory college, covering Math, English language arts, Science, Social Studies, and Computer Science.

Common Core Math and English language arts

A K–12 curriculum choice based on the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics and English Language Arts.

State standards + general curriculum

Use Adaptive Tutor's general learning path while viewing possible matches from an available state standards library. Every user may choose any available state.

49 State Standards Libraries

State references are available without locking learners to where they live.

Adaptive Tutor includes K–12 standards references for Math, English language arts, Science, and Social Studies from 49 states. These materials come from the open Learning Commons catalog and keep their original source credit. A learner's saved location can suggest the matching state, but the learner may choose another state, Common Core, or the general curriculum at any time.

No endorsement is implied. A state standards reference helps educators review possible coverage. It is not a claim that a state agency, Learning Commons, or another source approved Adaptive Tutor or certified its lessons.

Source Availability

One state source is not included.

Georgia standards are not included because the available source uses noncommercial terms; learners can still choose the general curriculum, Common Core Math and English language arts, or another available state standards library.

How Standards Help

Standards describe learning goals; learner progress guides the teaching order.

Adaptive Tutor may show possible standards matches beside a lesson so an educator can review coverage. Those references do not automatically decide prerequisites, placement, grades, mastery, assessment results, or curriculum approval. The tutor chooses its next step from the selected curriculum, prerequisite skills, and the learner's demonstrated understanding.

Changing a state reference keeps the same general learning path and progress. When a learner moves between the general and Common Core paths, only a fully mastered shared skill can count as complete in both; detailed work remains saved in its original path.

Sources And Credit

Open materials keep their attribution and license.

Schools And Families

Reviewed local curricula can be added without changing the public catalog.

A school or family may add a curriculum it has the right to use. Private source material stays outside the public website, and adding it does not imply endorsement by the source publisher or standards body.
